Clayton began his career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a commercial producer with emphasis on loss sensitive casualty products and highly protected property risks. He joined Alabama Insurance Exchange almost 30 years ago and has served as President and CEO since 2014. Clayton provides risk management and insurance placement for a wide array of industries including Restaurant & Hospitality, Contracting & Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Mixed Retail and Habitational.

After an already successful career with both Liberty Mutual and Federated Insurance companies, Linda joined AIE in 1995 as a Commercial Sales Executive, bringing with her a wealth of well-gained expertise in Automotive & Equipment Dealerships, Contracting, Construction, and Industrial Processing. In addition to handling many of AIE's prime, larger accounts, Linda serves as AIE's Chief Financial Officer.

Debbie serves as CSR for Clayton and Linda. She has 21 years experience in the insurance industry.

Ron's focus areas are: Homebuilders, General & Specialty Contractors, Restaurants, Charitable Non-Profits, Religious Organizations, Professional Liability, Errors & Omissions (with special emphasis on Architects and Engineers), Hospitality and Entertainment. Ron celebrated 40 years with AIE in 2018.

Lorie has 25 years experience in customer service and accounting. Lorie's background includes management, leadership, business finance and operations. She has been with AIE for 14 years.

Michelle began her insurance career over 25 years ago as a CSR at Cobbs Allen Hall. After five years Michelle came to AIE as an insurance placer. In 2007 she became a commercial lines producer. Michelle handles all areas of commercial insurance with emphasis on hospitality, manufacturing and logging.

Karen brings 40 years experience to AIE and has been a licensed agent since 1993. Karen specializes in transportation (trucking).

Pam specializes in trade and artisan contractors, general contractors, restaurants and retail. Pam celebrated 31 years with AIE in 2018!

Nolan's focus is personal insurance for mass-affluent (high net worth) families. He founded IronTrust Insurance, an independent agency which merged with AIE in 2018. Nolan brings an infectious enthusiasm to his work which is a great asset to our company and his clients.

Natalie began her insurance career with Farmers Insurance before founding her own independent agency. She brings a wealth of experience, energy and expertise to our personal lines division. Natalie joined AIE in 2017 and brings 13 years of experience in the insurance industry starting as a captive insurance agent and becoming an independent agent in 2010.

Cassie comes to AIE with 18 years experience in the industry. She has been working in personal lines since 1999 specializing in homeowners and auto insurance. She started her own independent agency in 2016 then merged with AIE in 2018. She is licensed in Property & Casualty since 2000, Life and Health since 2006.

Mayra serves as a CSR to Pam Gentry. Mayra has been with AIE for 7 years and previously worked as our receptionist. She is a fluent Spanish translator. Mayra greets all customers with a smile and willingness to assist.

After tenured careers in mortgage banking and purchasing for a national construction company, Cindy joined AIE in early 2018 to assist in accounting, expense control and implementation of the agencies social media presence and marketing effort.

Allen began his second career with Alabama Insurance Exchange in 2018. Allen previously spent 46 years in the insurance business as an agent for J. Smith Lanier, Sentry Insurance and Countrywide Insurance. Allen has solid insurance experience in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Life Insurance.

Shanice is the newest team member at AIE. She will greet you with a smile and willingness to assist. She is a fluent Spanish translator.
